You’re a Head of Product or VP of Engineering at a company deploying AI into a high-stakes or regulated context. You don’t have enough work to warrant a full-time hire. You have questions that pop up at inconvenient times and you need to expand your team’s capabilities without adding headcount. You want the ability to sanity-check critical decisions without breaking the bank. What do you do?
The Offering
I offer retainer-based advisory and consulting services to help you meet the needs of your business and use cases. Whether you are an enterprise corporation looking for 3rd-party review, a small startup that can’t afford to support a full headcount, or simply a company smart enough to know that having an expert on retainer is a good idea I am here to support you.
We will work together to identify any recurring meetings you wish me to attend and what ongoing work fits within the retainer, based on the scope we agree on.
Additionally, there are three standard tiers to adjust the speed and nature of responses to ad hoc inquiries:

What’s Included
- Recurring monthly meeting (can be increased to bi-weekly for more active engagements)
- Reviews and advisory services on new or in-flight projects, critical decisions, or incidents (to manage learning teams)
- Hazard Analysis or Testing Strategy Development that fits within the allotted hours. If the engagement is too big, you can allot some or all of your retainer towards the project costs.
Pricing
You’ll generally contact for a quote. There are three important things to note:
- There is a $2.8K minimum per month to ensure stability across clients
- I only accept $40K in concurrent retainers across all clients
- If you use more than your retainer, the rate defaults to Advisory Consultation pricing (unless otherwise negotiated)
